Default I'm changing my way of detecting.....

Saw a youngster about 12 years old with a BH Pioneer and was gonna help him if he asked. He was carrying the coil about 10" off the ground and just walking without swinging the coil side to side. I had been searching for quite a while in a/m mode with my Silver umax and thought he might look over and see "how to do it". Finally, he lowered the coil while walking forward and the dang thing went off with a high tone. "Hey, I found a dime!" he said. I had found a nickel and a penny. I just left.

Thought you were gonna say it was a seated dime or something that would of been comedy.
