Default AT-Pro Air Test Video

This air test was done using coin targets. Enjoy

Hmm. Why above the coil and not below? Did you send this to Garrett and ask them why it doesn't show target ID at that depth?

Hello and good questions...the coil is not directional in nature...so above or below makes no difference. But, to answer your question, I chose above for the sake of filming it.

It is common with the AT-Pro as far as I can tell from watching other videos, that when a target is just on the precipice of detection range that you can still hear a faint audio response though not see any visual confirmation, that is what a good set of earphones helps you with. I imagine this might be true with many other brands/models as well.

I am by no means an expert with this machine as it is brand new to me, last weekend. I just filmed me running a few tests to familiarize myself with it.

Thanks and happy hunting!

I noticed you did the depth tests with the sensitivity turned down, I understand it was probably to erratic to turn it up inside the house but you would gain a few more inches of depth with it turned up.. Still a neat video thanks for sharing..

LJ,

This is true...even at the low setting it was picking up EF interference. I'm almost certain that if I were to bump it up I'd probably get at least another inch or 2.

Thanks for the comment.
