Great game, but your life is over. Very addictive.

I got Saints Row 3 and Portal 2 for Christmas and I've been addicted to them. I was going to get Skyrim but I've been too busy with my other games so I'll have to wait until I'm done with those. I've seen it played a number of times and it looks awesome. I'll definitely be picking it up once I'm done with SR3 and Portal 2...unless Bioshock Infinite comes out soon...then I'm clearing my schedule and becoming a recluse

I have decided not to let an elder scrolls game take over my spare time again! Ha ha... it's awesome. But I will not buy it. I'm sticking with battlefield 3 and NBA jam . Much easier to put those down.

Is it that good of a game? son received some giftcards from Gamestop and he wants to get it. right now he's obsessed with Halo Reach and the new Zelda for the Wii, but he's been talking about skyrim for awhile now...

Skyrim is awesome. Already put over 65 hours into it so far. You'll love it.

That game looks sweet, but I can't seem to quit playing Modern Warfare 3.

Install it on the PC. I've got it on my SSD. Takes all of 3 seconds for the entire game to load. Deleted the intro videos so no waiting on that. Also no loading times between areas or anything. And I've modded it to look 3 times better with higher resolution textures...Not sure why everyone feels compelled to game on a stupid console. PC is only marginally more expensive. You get a MUCH MUCH better experience. I can't imagine not gaming in full 1080p with AA on.

Im the High Elf race and got my two handed way up there. Doesnt take much to kill things. I loved Oblivion and had to have this. We have a 72 inch bigscreen and it rocks on it, but my wife is getting super annoyed.Im only level 16 though.

Thanks. Nothing compared to some people but it's sufficient for what I do.

Core i7 920 @ 3Ghz
12GB DDR3 ram
64GB SSD boot drive (crucial M4)
2TB additional 7200rpm HDD space
Two 5870s in crossfire
46 inch 1080p monitor
Logitech z-5500 5.1 speakers

I LOVE gaming on this rig! I got most of the parts cheap on craigslist so didn't pay a whole lot for it. What are you using?

Jesus 12 GB ram that's over kill for anything I can think would need that much.

Anyway I'm waiting for skyrim to drop in price at least half price. This way with the savings ill pick up the strategy guide. I'm not in a rush I just started playing Dark souls like 2 weeks ago and I'm 50 hours in. So that's a pretty time consuming game as is. That I'm going for platinum trophy will take even longer.

Skyrim takes a lot of play time to feel like you're progressing. You can be 50 to 100 hours in the game and still not visited every town.

I play on PS3 btw. Stopped PC gaming after world of warcraft lynch king expansion.

About half of what you're using LOL! I custom built my rig two years ago from stuff on tiger direct...it was pretty beastly then, but it wouldn't hold a candle to what you're running. I haven't had the enthusiam for gaming enough to rebuild it...MDing is taking up all of my spare time outside of work and time with the munchkin

Yes humor purposes only, I have an Xbox360 and PS3, no PCs in sight.
