Default 1803 lg cent error

I went out to the woods for a date with Miss Liberty....
She showed up!
This is the 1/000 variety.

Excellent find Jeff! I am suprised that error is not worth more unless there are a lot of them out there. Wish I could find even one large cent at this point.

Congrats, bud, on many outstanding recoveries. It seems as if you are into the same kind of coins that I am looking for: Colonials, Large Cents, and early-American silver.

Crazy
Show me yours and I'll show you mine
But really, thanks everyone. I have been fortunate. My finds are petty compared to some others. But they bring me happiness (isn't that what it's all about?).

On the right are all my Britania 1/2 pennys (1730s). But my oldest piece is the King Carlous lll 2 reale.

Thanks for looking and HH to all!

see you in the woods, Jeff
