Congrats !...that's a LOT of silver...I used to find almost that much..30 years ago...these days I can count a years silver finds on one hand...I've heard those Etracs are dynamite detectors...good luck at hitting 300...RR

I'd say your penny is from an old demo of making a penny float on water. It's an old trick, performed with a penny that has its sides flipped up, the "trick" of course being water tension. Doesn't look like a capped die error, but it never hurts to get it graded or looked at by an expert. HH
