A couple silver...A couple wheats

I went out Saturday evening for a couple hours with my wife and my youngest son. My wife decided she wanted to try it so I gave her some basic instructions and before I knew it she said "there is one right here". I dug a flap and found the 1937 Wheat at about 5 inches. Not bad for her first coin. I think I have her hooked and will probably look at getting another detector for her. I dug the 1959D Rosie and 54D wheat a short time later. We also found a nice pile of clad: 11Q, 14D, 9N, and 19P.

Last night we went to the inlaws after I got off work and I had about 20 minutes of light left to look around. I have been over their yard numerous times in the past with my MXT and made some good finds including my avatar. I didn't expect to find much but I hit a good signal at about 6 inches and out popped the 57D Rosie. I know I had been over that area numerous times in the past. I love my DFX!

Nice silver pair. I also love the way the DFX locks in on silver. The wheats are in great shape too. I wish they held up better in the soil out here.
