Default 3rd Large Cent in 3 days...

Went back into the woods where I found the 1819 LC and 1782 1 Reale yesterday. Met up with my buddy Gurnie and brought out another one of his hunting guys Dave. On a side note I think i have met more "Daves" than any other name in MD'ing...Anyway, I got a real scratchy signal at 6" down. Read mid 80's one way and upper 60's-low 70's the other way. The one direction it sounded good so I dug it. I thought for sure it would be trash. It was very hard to get to, so many roots to deal with. Finally got it out. It is definitely another LC just too toasted to make anything out. I'll take it though. Friday I found the LC dated between 1800-1803, Saturday I found the 1819 LC and today this one. I gotta get in a long hunt in this place. It is the site of an old amusement park, but the Reale Im sure pre dates even that. Also found two toasted wheats, one 1928 the other no clue. Two more musket balls, and the one is huge. Gurnie seems to think maybe 75 cal. Gurnie found 3 wheats and Dave had a couple Mercs and a junk ring. Not too shabby for a 1 hour hunt. As always, thanks for looking and HH all...

It's TOAST - still better than any of my lack of large cents. Nice job!

Incredible finds lately Sean. I like the musket balls, I've never seen a white one before, although I think I had a kidney stone that looked like that. Congrats on the large cent and all the luck you've been having lately.

Thanks Dave. It has been quite a run of late.
