Default Old Baseball Field Silver Again

These old Baseball field sites have been working out for me. Today I went to a park that isn't that old, maybe the 1950's. I use old aerial research to determine spots to hunt. And there is a modern day baseball field there now that has been in that location since post silver coin age. After 1964. And I found out that it was once where the outfield is now. I seen it on a 1963, and a 1958 aerial where the outfield is now. So I went in that area along the edge of the park, and I picked up three old coins, a wheat that I can't make the date out, maybe 1940, a 1947 nickel, and this 1948 D Washington Quarter. Research can indeed pay off. Thanks for looking and HH.

What did you see on the aerial photo where the outfield is now?
I didn't understand that part.

Great silver!

I use http://historicaerials.com. I recomend it to everyone. It helps a lot to compare aerials from now and then.
