Default Auvio Wifi Headphones Question

After seeing another member's post about going wireless, I decided to give it a go...(A recent work project granted me a little play money!) So, overall I am quite pleased with the headphones, but my question to the users of the Auvio headphones is:

Is there any way to make the sound from the detector register in both earpieces? Seriously, you buy headphones that go over BOTH ears, you want to hear it in BOTH! Anyone with a solution ou there? Thanks so much,
NC

did you buy a stereo or mono adapter? stereo adapter has 2 black rings on the lower part of the shaft. Mono only has one. You want a stereo adapter.

Good, I thought this might be a simple fix....I really didn't buy any adapter, but I can check my few that are in various detectors. Is it built in the .25" converter? Thanks,
NC

yep as stated before just make sure the 1/8" to 1/4" adaptor is "stero" and not mono, that should fix the problem, i've been running these headphones for a couple months now and wouldn't use anything else, mine have been workin great.

Right, thank you! Your post was the one that convinced me to get them, what a great deal!! I've deduced my problem is actually the way the transmitter fits into my adapter. Everything I own is stereo, now that I looked at it closer, but the way this particular adapter is, it doesn't allow all of the transmitter to fit in. Thanks guys!

the first adaptor i bought had a black plastic outer shell and didn't seem to work well or make a good connection, i then went to the solid gold plated stereo 1/8 to 1/4 adaptor and that worked great on my GTI, now on my AT pro i needed the short volume control extension to go along with the adaptor for it to work, for some reason without the volume control extension the sound would come out the external speaker and headphones at the same time (that was lame).
glad ta help ya out, the freedom of being wireless is great

Ditto what dogpound said. They are great and I get sound in both ear pieces.
