Default Coils

I just got the Blue Max 15" coil for my XLT. It's the size of a garbage can cover . Anyone use one of these monsters? I'm hoping it will help in fields. Any special settings or programs?

I guess no one has used one of these. I tested it with 4 inches of snow on the ground plus 4 inches of dirt under that and picked up a worn copper with no problem. Hopefully I'll have good luck in some fields that have failed to turn anything up in the past. Good luck this year everyone.

sure seems like that thing would be heavy. might need to use a sling with that one.

Yeah definetely will need a sling for this one. Made one myself with a rubber bungee cord and a harness that goes around the shoulder.
