Talking Spanish silver today!

Went to the ballpark today for a little hunting time with my son. The day was going slow with a couple wheats a little clad and alot of pulltabs and junk. Was talking myself into calling it quits when I came accross an interesting signal that I thought just might be a deep dime or quarter. Dug down about 7 inches then pinpointed the target in my dirt pile. I saw a little glint of silver and thought I had a silver quarter then quickly realized it was a little big for a quarter. When I knocked a little dirt off I knew I had something far better than a silver quarter!

I had just dug my first spanish silver! I was in shock, never thought I would dig one of these in a ball field!

Now, I dont really know much about these but I think it's a one reale or two reale, there is a number two on the back, dated 1774. When I got home I decided to clean it up with some salt and a toothbrush and it looks REALE nice!!

If someone could help verify what it is I would appreciate it. It's just a tad smaller than a large cent. Update: Posted in ID your finds, appears I have a two reale coin.

Other finds included a few wheats and an 1869 indian head penny thats pretty crusty, to bad because the redbook says it's an $80 coin in good condition. I found one in my front yard last year that was really nice!

Thanks for looking,,,, Happy hunting!!

No idea. Farmland more than likely.
