Found this ring yesterday at St. George Island Beach with my white's detector. Dug 12" down. I believe it's silver but no idea what the PP means. Silver normally has .925 or sterling inside. This PP is the only marking. Any ideas. thanks guys.

I think it is a celtic platinum ring,
If you look on ebay and type in celtic rings you will see them for sale. just a thought, most silver will have 925 or a hall mark on the inside even if made on the continent it normaly also is hall marked with a differant number and stamp. If it is elctro plated it will have epns or ep inside,which is electro plated nickel silver,or electro plated. |
