Panama City Florida Club??

Anybody know anything about the club in Panama City Florida? I could only find a snail-mail address, no electronic method of contacting them. I sent them a postcard with my info but have heard nothing back so I gave up thinking they were defunct. Then the other day I ran into a guy on the beach who came up to me and told me his (?)Uncle(?) or some relative - I forget - was in the club and gave me his name. So, I guess there IS still a club here. Anyone out there a member of the PC, Fl club?

Just A week ago I bought an Ace 250 I have only found coins so far but it's purdy cool .Hopefully ,when I find the time , I'm going to try detecting at Rattle snake lake.My brother inlaw say alot of folks used to party and camp out there .

the name of the club is Panhandle Research and Recovery. They meet the second Saturday of the month at 7pm at the panama City Beach Baptist Church on middle beach road .It is on the right just pass WaMarts.This is our web site http://panhandleresearchandrecovery.com/ Check us out! I'll be there! I sent 2 letters to the only name I could find, (J.E.) but heard nothing. Then I found some outfit called GeoProspecting listed as the club for PCB and emailed them, no reply. I had given up... so what I am trying to say is: Thanks!! for answering my post. I'll check out the site and see you at the May meeting.

Any of you guys do group hunts? I am new to metal detecting and am trying to find good sites and learn from others. Does everyone typically just go to the beach or ? I may come by the meeting this Saturday evening, but I will probably try to go MDing sometime Saturday. Thanks.
