Default New Camera new detector all's well

Recieved the digital camera this morning that geodawn (George) was kind enough to send me to try. And tonight was the first time using my new to me White's Liberty Di, I had 10 minutes before it got dark. My very first hit was a ring with a pink stone in it, I can't post a picture of it because my son is sleeping in where the ring is and I don't want to wake him up. The next three hits were a penny/dime and a nickle. All three coins was at least 6 -7 inches deep, maybe alittle deeper. The dime was a 1951. I took a picture of it with my new to me camera (thanks George), I have alot to learn about using it as it has lots of features. My wifes dabbles on eBay buying/selling jewelry and just loves this camera (Fuji Finepix F20) and will come in handy for her. Steve.

Nice ring there! Looks like the camera has a nice closeup.

I use the Macro feature on my camera to take closeups all the time, it really works good.
