Default Silver Asymmetric Symbol on Cap

I dug this up in my front yard around 8 inches down. It was giving me 90-100
on my F4, so I was kind of hoping for a dollar or half dollar coin. I think that it's on some kind of bottle cap. Anyone recognise the symbol?

That's a great observation, thanks! I hadn't looked at it at that angle.

It's very similar to a little make-up case top that I found a couple weeks ago. Metal is bright, doesn't rust, rings high magnetivity. Similar symbol too, though I can't compare. I threw mine away as it was in worse shape, and I don't have a great respect for ill-preserved relics. A sword blade rusty beyond recognition, to me, is a worthless piece of rust, for example. No offense to those who love that sort of stuff.
