Garrett GTP 1350

Ok so I have been detecting around in the forests here in Germany and I get a lot of iron signals because of scrapnel. I was wondering if anyone else that had the detector knew how to differentiate from a good strong iron signal from the !!!! iron signal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
