Sorry about the pictures, can't get close ups. I have two bracelets, one with silver on the front and gold on the back?, the other is gold. On each one is inscribed ".925" China. How can i tell if real. Does china fake these? it came out of the ground shiny and no tarnish.
thanks |

Hay Bowman,
I am sorry to tell ya this, but 925 usually means silver. The gold is platting. 925 would be very soft if it was gold. Happy Huntin, Tabdog |

I'm in agreement with Tabdog, 925 indicates sterling silver. In your case bowman, I'll bet you're looking at sterling silver with a few microns of gold plating. Congrats on your finds, silver is always a welcome pull!
