Default Hit a small playground today - plus first plug in park

Hit a small playground down the street from me. I MD'ed it last October and found just $1.00 in two trips. Wasn't expecting much but ended up with 28 pennies, 3 nickels and 5 dimes for $0.93 I also found a key and my first whistle

Before I left I figure I would do a quick scan where I saw some young'uns practicing from T-Ball a few days earlier. Ace read a quarter, but deep - 4 to 6'' down. What to do what to do. I do know you can MD in the parks, but digging No signs anywhere, and no people either Soooo I dug a plug and was just a teeny shallow on my dig, but dead center. Grabbed a 1989 quarter and left the place. Soil was in good plugging condition - no trace of where I dug it out.

Congrats on the finds, and good job at leaving "no trace"

Hey Oz, at least you broke the dollar mark! Good job bagging that last minute quarter!

If there's no sign not to dig, dig away. I think it's great that you left it looking as good as you found it. That's how a good detectorist should do it.
