1 more day until I get my headphones!

Hello everybody,
Only 1 more day until I get my Gray Ghost headphones. (Fingers Crossed)
I can't wait! I bought my mdr, digging tools, and all of the other accessories that are needed for mding. I have only been able to use my mdr around the house. I really didn't want to go to any good spots without headphones. The Garret Ace 250 is so loud, that it is bound to get a lot of unwanted attention. So far, around the house I have found a dime, a penny, some barbed wire, 5 or 6 nails, a bottle cap, gum wrappers, and 2 small pieces of copper wire. I will probably be hunting most of this weekend. I am going to try out some old parks, maybe a dried out lake, and some other places. I will let you guys know how I do over the weekend. Hopefully, I will have some finds and some pics in the next couple of weeks. HH and GL.

Good luck on your hunts after you get the phones. I know just how it feels, being so close to getting what you ordered but still not having it.

Jay---I'd say that your ratio of coins to "junk" is just about what we all experience.

I'm excited for you. I know others on the forum are as well. Please post the results of your weekend hunt(s). We'll be watching and smiling because we've all "been there" and it's a good feeling.

Good choice on the headphones, the Grey Ghosts are one of the best I have ever used. I love them. I have a few other pairs sitting at the house and I can't even tell you the brands because I just move the Grey Ghost's from detector to detector. Very rugged and they block out outside noise great, I hunt a lot in the city and these things kill almost all the traffic noise.

The UPS man just came by with my headphones. I am going hunting! You guys probably won't hear from me for a few days or weeks. I will let you know how I do. Oh...and to answer your question the Ace 250 does not have a volume control. GL and HH :tumble:
