it is cheap and you will find things with it, if you don't know if you are going to enjoy going out it is better than spending 200 and hating it. How well it works I wouldn't know

My son has that machine. It's hard to figure out unless you dig every time the MD beeps, and sometimes it gives false alerts. Good luck with your decision!

I'm currently using the Harbor Freight detector. It finds metal that's for sure. If your looking to find coins with it I've found that the best settings is to set the switch to disc. Set your sensitivity knob 3/4 full or in the 3 o'clock position. Then set your disc. Knob to a little over half full or in the 1 to 2 o'clock range.
I bought my detector in May and have found close to $6 in clad. A sliver bracelet and a few buttons. I did find my first wheat penny the other day with it. So all in all it does the job. But I'm itching to upgrade to a better detector soon. One that will give me a different tone for the different metals and or has a display that gives some kind of indication of what I might be digging. If you do end up buying one and need some help or tips on it feel free to PM me and I'll share what I've learned about using it. __________________ |

Hey, it looks like a pretty decent detector. But you never know. I would go for it, and try it out.
Good luck! __________________ |
