Default My First silver coin today!
FIRST SILVER EVER TODAY!!! I drove past an ol ball park today and noticed that just outside the fence they had been grading and digging the soil and grass. It was all tore up. I dug one signal and found a pull tab and glanced some silver out of the corner of my eye. It was this Merc dime! Woooooohoooooooo!!! Wish I had a machine that could read deeper!

great looking coin, congratulations, most peoples first silver coins seem to be roosevelt dimes, you got lucky with the merc

Congrats on you first silver... I also Have found my first silver coin today and it too was a mercury dime dated 1941 found it using a Whites Classic III SL hopefully I find more...I have been hunting my back yard and according to my deed it says my house was built in 1882 the oldest coin i have found here is a 1916 wheat so BRING ON THE SILVER!!!

What a great feeling, huh? And it's just making me obsess about getting out again this weekend. Thinking about where I can find more and scanning the roads and towns on the way to work for possible sites!
