Default Newbie in Carson City NV
Hello everyone. Im new here to this forum. My name is Zerick. Im still pretty new to metal detecting. About 7 years ago my dad bought me a metal detector from christmas. He buried a bunch of coins for me. I never found them. But over the years ive occasionally brought the detector along while camping and what not. Ive found a ton of change, lures, pliers all kinds of stuff. Ive recently got back into it and just purchased and Ace 250. While waiting for it to arrive. Ive been reading a lot of stuff online. And I noticed in Reno you need a permit for parks and such places. I am just wondering if I need one for Carson. Where I can and cant go. What the laws are. Ive read the nrs. But its all so confusing. Id love any information I can get. Thank you.

welcome to the forum and good luck
you got alot of competition in Carson
but the parks are fair game just please learn how to cut a nice half circle so as not to kill the grass so we can enjoy the parks for a long time to come
