Default Mystery Item (tool?)

Can anyone help to ID this thing?
It appears to be solid brass.
The narrow part is hollow, with a round opening on the small end that is 1/16" in diameter. There are no other markings on it.

The ball chain clasp says:
BEAD CHAIN
BPT. CONN.

Thanks!

Most likely a cigar punch.

I think the BPT CONN stands for "Bridgeport Brass" in Connecticut.
Drop them a mail with a picture of the item.
Maybe they will be able to help You out with this one.

Nope. Only the narrow part is hollow. The fatter section is solid (Except for the hole where the chain passes).
