Default Ghost Town Hunt and Head Stamps

Well everyone,

Mr. RyanChappell and I made it to an old Ghost Town today that I received permission to hunt last week. Had a great time out beautiful weather and a nice breeze all day. We hunted 2 home sites that was only discernible by old wells a pile of rocks and vegetation that was out of place for the part of the woods we were in. As soon as we started swinging we begin to strike targets. I got several New Club UMC head stamps only 16's and 12's, something to make Mr. Turtlefoot happy. and some other items. There are many more old home sites in the area that we are certain to go back find and search. Check out the video to see my finds. I will let Mr. Chappell tell you about what he got.

Video will be finished uploading soon, by 8:30 AM 3-30-2012
SORRY everyone my youtube upload crashed in the middle of uploading last night so I had to start it over again It should be finished by around 8:30 this morning (3-30-12)

Sorry it has taken me so long to comment on this thread. I have been swamped lately. You have some great shotshell heads there. I like seeing it when both the UMC and the Remington-UMC variations are found. I don't believe that I have seen the .38 CF posted before. Nice finds.

Doug

Thanks Diggintim you should post the find when you and I were out the other day. It was I suppose your first trip out at least with me. Others will be interested in your first finds.

Thanks turtlefoot these were found at an old mining community dating back to the mid 1800's hope they may offer more info. the .38 CF was found just a few feet from the New Club UMC's.
