Default Well, I found another... Hot rock...

I guess there are a few around here. This one is a mile from the last one. Also 3 times the size. I will say that I am sure that this and the last are natural pieces and I'm happy to add them to our yard.
The magnet loves it !
I am hoping to make my own stonehenge !

What VDI did it ring up at? How long did it take to dig and how deep? Man, you must have a backhoe. Congrats on the great find. . . I guess.

Default Rock !

It was only in about 6 inches of water. It was fairly easy to pick out but hard to get up the incline. Once on the hard pack right of way it was just your average mule work. About a half mile trip since it was not a straight line.
Across soft grass and I'd be dead !

Funny you said that. I was looking at the shape and thought maybe it IS an old headstone. Interesting on the nickel reading. Maybe some gold in there? Never throw away anything until you get home is what I say. You did a LOT of work for that rock. I can hear your wife talking to the neighbor. "YES, he brought home another ROCK!"
