Default New E-Trac

Well Guys & Girls

I finely pulled the plug and brought a new E-Trac. Now I just didn't run out and buy one. I took many months of research, mostly reading owner manuals, reviews and owner testimony. The first think a future owner should do is to download a free copy of the E-trac owner's manual. The second is to download a free copy of E-Trac Emulator by Max Deroven, Thanks Max. This gives you the availably to play with the Minelab interface in real-time. The next item you need to get is Andy Sabisch's E-Trac handbook, this book should come with the E-Trac.
My first time out with the E-Trac: Let me start by saying I'm leasing an older home in Albany NY. Build in the late 20's. so I'm guessing this property has never been MD. Well within the first hour and half i pulled 2 silver dimes, 1 clad quarter, 1 clad dime and 5 wheat's, WOW! Now there's a couple of things i don't like about the E-Trac; First the headphones the factory cord it's to short. This is an easy fix i was planning to do and upgrade anyway. the second thing a titling display would be nice. Maybe the next generation will include this feature. Oh one more thing a Sun-ray X-1 target probe I'll get one soon.
