I wondered...if we have a ultra hammering rain, will that enhance finds in stingy hunt areas? martin

Well it possibly can and does help get a bit deeper. I know it helps make the digging easier as far as getting my tool in the ground. But yes it does help your signals. The preference is a nice steady soaking rain over gully washers, with the washers lost of the water runs off too fast to give the ground a good soaking.
