Tips on Garrett Sea Hunter?
Been out about 3 times with it and can't seem to find any targets more than about 8 inches. Any tips on this machine. In standard mode threshold seems choppy.

May be swinging too fast. I know with the Infinium if I swing real fast I wont find deep targets, Once I slow down to about 1-2 feet per second, I start hitting the deep targets. Make sure your Elimination is at 0, it's a pulse delay control, the higher you raise it, the less depth you get... dont use it to try to disc out iron, they advertize it as discrimination, but it doesn't work like that, no pi has discrimination...

I've been leaving elim. at zero. The threshold tone is not steady at all in the normal mode. In discrete it is steady but seems like depth is not there.
