Just steer clear of Ft Pickens and the Gulf Islands National Seashore around there. MDing absolutely prohibited. The beaches generally have signs saying so. Roadside signs should mark the boundaries too. I believe some places are ok around Pensacola. Maybe someone local can enlighten us. If you travel east on 399 you can hunt on okaloosa island. A sign there shows the boundary of the Federal land on the west side of Okaloosa. Try the fishing pier area. But again, you need more local advice because I am 80 miles east of there.

Default Pier

We went on vacation last year in gulf shores, did ok, found a solid platinum mans wedding band, going to Pensacola cause prettier water, was just looking for local bars on the beach, or any other places where people crowd up more than normal, only get to beach once a year for 9 or 10 days. Trying to make the most of that time.

If you are going left from Pensacola Beach... after about 2 miles,,,the commercial buildings end and it becomes a nature area for about 15-20 miles with road only and an occasional rest area for parking for about 20 cars. These rest areas are packed in the summer. And lots of cars park for miles along this road. So I would search these areas during this time of year. This road ends at Navarre where another causeway connects. No one should bother you this time of year....The other obvious places which are the Dock bar, and Pier at Pensacola Beach.
