Starting to like these hunted out parks. Went to a park just down the street from my house today. I know for a fact that it has been hunted by every swinging detector in town.

First off, I found this Japanese 10 Yen piece. It must be a recent drop. It was on top of the soil in the grass. Not sure of the date, but I typed in the markings and it came up as a 1963, but I could be wrong.

Then, I got even luckier... The Nox rang up 33-34 again for the second time in two weeks. I was thinking there was no way I could be lucky enough to pull out another half dollar, but it rang up good and it was deep, so who knows...

I dug it up and sure enough, it was a half dollar. A 1906 Barber this time. It was at about 10 inches. I dug out a big ol plug and still had to dig the coin out. It was a little deeper than the plug.
