Went wandering around the woods for a couple hours. And all I found worth posting was this shiny 1940 quarter. It has some company now.

It's amazing what can show up in the middle of nowhere Congrats!
I was surprised to get that perfect solid silver tone, after hearing nothing but iron grunts for half an hour.

Congrats on the silver! Makes me wonder what you were doing out there in the middle of nowhere! Was there an old house or something?

I was on my way to an old home site, yes. Right on the other side of that ridge is a recreational lake that gets a lot of use in the Summer.
