I went out on Saturday to a soccer field and on Sunday, Sue and I hunted a different soccer field. Totals for the two days was 104 coins worth $19.23. I dug a junk ring, a dollar coin, and a decent looking 1944 wheatie. Sue dug what at first looked like a gold ring but turned out to be sterling......possibly gold plated. Quarter ratio was pretty good.....62/104

Nice totals and finds, and yeah, those "gold" rings can sure be a teaser! Went up to Missoula MT last nite for a Father's Day evening hunt, got a great looking gold ring, checked out at home and it was a wheel cut fancy PLATED example... sure had me going!

Thanks...the gold color and the red stones sure gave the impression the ring was gold but the hallmark told the story....:(

Nice haul
Thanks.....we were definitely busy digging.

Wow, fantastic amount of coins. Nice other finds as well. Congrats.
