Well I tried to get ahold of Mud but he stated he would rather paint the living room then hunt with a pirate like me.

18k and Tungsten that retails for 549.00 and a unmarked heavy ring that weighs 7.59 grams that passes 18k test and fails 22k. Great day!

Yeah.....what a gosh darn bummer! What a great Hunt you had! :laughing: Congratulations there Rat! Beautiful finds! You sure do work it for Old Glory! I'm gonna be getting out to get my share hopefully!...Got the Living room painted anyway...Swinging coil is a lot like running a paint roller...steady and keep the overlap pattern working...Just grinding it out....

I bet your scoop is about worn the hell out? It was in pretty bad shape last Fall...All peened over like a Yukon dredge bucket...You going stainless? Maybe get in on Scubadees guessing game and win yourself a SunSpot? Or a half drownded ol Walker like me?:laughing:

Congrats!!!

Your unmarked heavy could be platinum?

Looks like a men's ring, even 14k is rare on a man's ring, let alone 18k.. But platinum....

<°)))>{

:dingding: Congrats on the awesome finds. I would be worried about my friendship with a pirate that would rather paint a living room that go out detecting. :hmmm:

You could take it into the Coin Shop to have it tested for free if you want...they have one of those electronic gold testing mosheens...I do that all the time on the way home from the beach if I dont have my loupe or readers handy...Plus, that guy is part of our Coin Club. He supplies the coins for the raffle...Its right off the highway on your way home from work...He is expecting to see you someday anyhow so this might be a good excuse...?

There was also a recent thread about how to do an easy Specific Gravity test you might want to try...Your boys would learn something too!....As you know, Acid gets old and is unreliable when it breaks down...Thats a Old looking ring...so heres to hoping its pre junk metal era!
