I went to a very old park nearest to my house that I've probably hunted over a hundred times just because it's close. Lately it's just been a wheat penny and some clad because it has seemed hunted out. I've found well over a hundred silver at this park over the years.
Was in an area I've looked many times and hear this down deep. Was giving me half dollar numbers but was jumping around a little since it was deep. Thought maybe I had a silver dime because of very high tone and it was deep. To my surprise it was this 1891 Seated half dollar. I'm still shaking inside and it's been a couple hours.

NEVER SAY A PLACE IS HUNTED OUT!

Congrats on a super find and it's extra special being found in your pounded park!

Wow !!!!!
Sweet dig. I'm definitely jealous of that one. I did manage one last summer but it was holed and bent. Non the less it was awesome to see large seated come out of the dirt.

Big congrats to ya.......Wish I could find another park the one you've been working.....

Wow that's so sweet and I am green with envy. Just love the seated design.

What a trophy! Great write up about going back to your old honey hole and working it...You reckon theres any Gold coins in there you can go hunt?
