Been awhile since I’ve had a day like this.

Started out at a friend’s parents’ home. They are deceased and he is selling the house. I promised to scan it for him. About a third of the yard has so much buried metal I couldn’t hunt it but did find a nice Rosie and a lost silver and abalone ring his mother had lost. The ring was badly misshapened and had probably been buried for decades. Return #16.

Then on to another permission where the ground was full of coins. 13 wheats (‘37-‘53s), 22 Memorials, 3 nickels, 5 dimes, a Merc and a Washington as well as a Snow White watch. And a third of the yard still waits to be searched.

My back is aching, I’m filthy, and worn out. Feels great!

Very nice pile Chip .
Nothing like a little stiffness letting you know that you put in some solid hunting time . 👍
That pile of finds and keepers confirms that also.

I’d be happy with that pile any day! And that ring counts as a return in my book.
