So I dug a ball pein hammer that my research shows it in a 1969 sears catalog. I’ve cleaned it up but what’s the best way to make the stamp/engraving stand out? It’s visible but I’m wanting it noticeable. Nail polish and sanding? What’s your thoughts?

Can you add a picture?

It’s finished now, I filled it in with black nail polish then sanded with 400 grit.

Here’s either a chisel or wedge I dug on the same hill, it was extremely rough so I used electrolysis on it (first time ever) I think it turned out pretty good but I won’t be putting it back to use. There was logging here way back in the day so I’m not sure which it is.

What u think logging wedge? Logging happened there, or chisel, can’t think of any reason for the area. Any age guesses? Couldn’t tell what it was from the rust.
