HOT! Lake Hunting Today, River Gold High Banking Yesterday To Stay Cool.....

Man.....it is HOT! I spent 6 hours in the water non-stop to stay cool today. Got some coins, junk, a working Bic lighter and a couple of earrings.



Here are the earrings all cleaned up.




This gold is from yesterday. The concentrates from the sluice get put through a kitchen strainer, then on my micro sluice (1/8" - V matting 4" x 30") which catches about 95% of the flour gold along with some black iron oxides. I then back pan these, to get rid of the remaining black oxides, then suck up the flour gold in my Garrett snuffer bottle.
 
How does someone learn to do this and where in their state to look for places to dreg ?
