Hey everyone! Went to a new site with my buddy and found sound oldies! A two seated day for me, 1884 and 1885. 1885 is in good shape too! Those were my first two coins, then had to really work for the others. Lots and lots of walking and swinging glad I had my super light T2. A surprise coin that I originally thought was a Chinese cash coin turned out to be a Japanese 1 Mon (minted 1668 to 1700 - my oldest coin!). Ended up cross referencing and confirming the 1 Mon ID on a few different sites online. I'm just going to call it a 1600s coin - close enough! Also ended up with an 1884 semi-key V Nickel, two indian heads and a flattened indian head? Appears thinner than a normal penny and also larger diameter. Too small to be a 2 center, but this site could have them... must just be a flattened indian. My buddy found an indian and a nickel 3 cent piece. What a fun day! Thanks for looking.

Very nice. Beautiful seated. Congrats. My oldest is a Chinese coin.

:woot: Congrats on the outstanding hunt! The '85 seated definitely has some nice detail.

Congrats on the epic silver's! We've gotten barber's mercs and an early GW quarter but still haven't got a seated. That's next haha.

Double seated and a super old Japanese coin?! What a day! Congrats.
