I spent 2hrs. hunting until the heat sent me home . I ended up with a 58D silver dime that had about a third of it sticking out of the ground in plain view .I also dug 4 wheats and $1.78 in modern change and of course some junk . Today was supposed to be cooler than the next two days coming up .
I'm going to hang it up for a few days , rest up and have a fresher attitude for when the cooler weather comes .I have come to the conclusion this place has been hit hard and cherry picked for years . The silver is far and few between and the absence of nickels is very apparent but I am going to keep keep hunting it until they put in the new lawn .
Pictured is the silver dime and the wheats as I have seen enough of the other stuff .
