I received permission at a 1760’s farmhouse today and got to swing for a few hours. The conditions were not ideal as the grass was high in the fields and made for a tough day. I was there for about ten minutes and dug the king George copper and thought I was going to hit it out of the park, but that was the only coin I found minus some clad. The silvers seem to elude me in these colonial yards even though you would think in 250 years someone would have had to drop at least a Rosie. The 50th anniversary token is from 1999 so no big score but it definitely made my heart skip a beat when I saw it in the hole. All in all a great day and finished with the king George, which I believe is a 1740 which I gave to the homeowners as it predates the house. I also got a thimble, 1 nice dandy button, a clothing buckle and a D buckle. Hope everyone is well and thanks for looking
