Went back to the old homestead I was at last week, still muddy as heck but I had a great day anyway. Pulled a no date buffalo, an 1865 IHP, couple wheaties, a 1930's Cracker Jack Jefferson token, a heart pendant and my first ever crotal bells.

Congrats on those finds, Stetam. Man, that larger crotal bell is a HONKER... probably the largest size made. Does it have a "size number" on it, down near the slot?

OK back at it today for about 2 hrs until I got too cold. Dug a copper wedding band, sterling bracelet, "The Develine" whistle in remarkably good shape, couple pewter spoon bowls and a beautiful condition 1876 IHP. The farm just keeps on giving. They all rang up 16-20 on the Nox, so if your not digging those mid tones your missing out.
