I used all scrap plywood I had from other projects, I did the math and the top is 600 ply! Right now it just has boiled linseed oil on it but I will do a nice smooth coat of low gloss poly or something, I have not decided yet...

It really wasn't that bad, just set up the table saw gate at two inches and ripped through all the scrap and cut to length on a chop saw. What took the longest was gluing and screwing of all the pieces to make the top. Sanding also took awhile.
If I did another top like this i would run the pieces in the long way on the top, basically make two big slabs and bring them to a place with a planer and run them through to get them dead flat, would save alot of time on sanding...
I had the idea in my head for awhile, glad i took the time and used the material instead of sending it to the landfill.

Very nice work zeemang !!!!

I like the unique design, very creative !

I like it when scrap wood comes in handy, but you do a better job with it than I likely would

Thats gorgeous! You got some skills Man! Hows the Hacienda rebuild coming along? Looking forward to seeing some updated photos...

Mud, the house came out great, we have been in for about a year now. A bit of a mess at the moment, but you get the idea...
