Tiffany Money - gold coin

Told my mother-in-law I was sending some gold/silver to ARA and it peaked her interest. So she opened up her bag of coins and pulls out this 10K gold token from Tiffany & Co. with a face value of $1000.

Now, I can figure out the melt value of this thing, but not knowing much about numismatics and having exhausted Google, I'm hoping someone can tell me if there is any collector value in "Tiffany Money" (what it's called). Since I don't have a pic, here's a link to a silver version of the same coin.

BTW, she had several of the silver $100 coins as well and one $100 Tiffany coin that was gold-plated silver (go figure).

anything tiffany is worth way over melt. I suggest you sell it for resale not as melt. I do not know the value of your piece particularly just that anything tiffany is worth more than melt.
