Been awhile since I posted any finds on here. I moved to Phoenix in June 2018. I haven't detected anywhere near as much as back east. One the summer here is ridiculously hot. So hard to detect when it is 110+ outside. You need to go 2 hours north to find relief. Back east it was easy to door knock. Here not so much plus as hard s the ground is, you don't want to mess up anyone's yard. Searching for ghost towns has been fun but most that are known have been pounded unless they are on property where you get arrested. Out here you REALLY need to know if you can detect there or not. I haven't tried gold nugget hunting yet. That is a whole different ballgame of where you can and cannot go. I bought a new Jeep Willys so at least I can explore more out here.
Back east I would have amassed three silvers in one hunt. It has been three silvers since I moved here. I miss that about the east coast (Delaware). Below are pics of the better things I have dug. There is and no particular order, An Alabama Tax Token, 1905O Barber dime. Las Vegas token for a now defunct casino. 1938 Merc. 1951 Rosie. A semi rare joker token. A 1918 Arizona Chauffeur's badge. You can see the rough AZ desert is not kind to silver coins.
Now that the weather has cooled down to the 70's and 80's I am going to make an effort to get out more. Back east I could do night hunts. Here Not so much with coyotes roaming everywhere in the desert. With my new Jeep I can get to more areas. Nice to be back on here. At least I have found love out here.. Thanks for looking and HH!
Also here is a link to my only video I posted here so far...
