OK just got this, amazingly clean, low hr.use. Sears/whites. Can one of you whites gurus tell me what equivalent whites model it is, more pics of this in a few, oh it seems to function 100% , traded a rotozip cutter for it.

Very clean inside as well, actually thought it would be a little heavier, even with the new batteries. Merry Christmas to me.

Thank you rattlehead, after googlin around, Ya that's what I'm goin with, 5000d, series 1 or 2 ??

Functions 100%, very clean, how do they run, back in the day prolly decent, I have a coin master classic 3. But just couldn't pass it up, I advertised on c.l. looking for another inexpensive detector, guy said lightly used , so I bit. Been looking at a Garrett gta 1000 really wanted it $100. But got next to nothin in this one. May try it out tomorrow.

Sears sold Whites detectors under their own name.

Not that I knew this, but to the other ignorant folks like me, Whites Electronics is printed on the meter.

Just info incase we run across a off breed machine thinking it was made by Whites and pay too much for junk.
