Found this the other day. Never really looked at it until today. Think its old silver from the design what do you guys think

I guess its not magnetic? The opal is nice. I think if it were old, lost silver all the plating would've been toast. Still a nice piece though.
 
The 925 stamp on sterling silver indicates that a piece is 92.5 percent pure silver. Silversmiths in England and France began stamping-sterling silver objects with this purity indicator in the 14th century. The mark became a requirement in the United States in 1906.
