This was found a few weeks ago in the bottom slope. About 14" down. Sounded faint but solid , yet broken , scratchy zincoln. I dig ALL signals like this and expected the same. Notice the mineralization I typically deal with.It is 18k gold with a few small diamonds on each side. Center stone is approximately 12 carats. Named after JP Morgan. Jeweler wants $85 to get it certified with paperwork , which I may do because people seem to want that on higher tickets. Unofficially it would retail for $3-4k , but we all know what that means ! I got it posted for a fraction of that , wish me luck. Enjoy ! 20200606_090714.jpg20200606_090530.jpg20200604_174239.jpg20200606_090620.jpg20200604_114751.jpg20200604_114737.jpg20200604_114705.jpg20200604_114647.jpg20200604_174321.jpg

:wow2: That had to make you pee your britches!

$3k-$4k for 12 carats seems low.

This does not make sense. Read below. Did you mean 1.2 carat? It says a 2.5 carat diamond could retail for 30,000. For a 2.5 carat I would look to get over 15 if it is certifiable and would exhaust all means to get as close to retail as possible.

Read a little more carefully guys. The center main stone is NOT a diamond. Research a bit !

When you first posted I saw moissanite but then said it didn't look right so I read your post again... still nice find :)

Morganite is beryl, like emerald and aquamarine. Colors can vary from pink to peach. Stones like the one you have can go for up to $300/carat. Someone cried when they lost that ring. It is a beautiful and rare piece.

Nice one KOB! That should take care of the AQ Impulse bill eh? ;)

My last ring was a copper wedding band. I self certified it. Congrats on your slightly nicer find.

Nice find regardless if the big stone is not a diamond. Ring looks sweet !

Wow congrats on this one! If I remember right Morganite is a soft stone. Must be a recent drop.

That's a whooper KOB! WoW! Good Luck !! If I could get 500.oo... it would be gone..

That is some nasty looking sand for sure!
