I found bottles in the ground from 1750s. They are green, but I am afraid of destroying the color when cleaning it. Any tips?

I also found what I believe is an oven. Mud and rocks that was hard but not impossible to remove. The hard work made my back hurt, so I took a few days off. In the meantime the oven lay in the sun. Now it is Rock solid, like it is concrete. It don't get soft after days soaked in water. Any tips?

You got pics? Would love to see some glass that old. How do you know for certain they are from the 1750's? If the glass is green, you wont lose color by cleaning them. Value maybe, but not color. If they are indeed that old they should all have pontil scars, as all bottles from that time period were hand blown.

I'd also love to see some pictures of them. Congrats on what sounds like a great find.

I am not sure about the mark in the middle, but it is has a lot of bubbles, and it is clearly hand made. The neck of the bottle is tilting to one side. The place had a small farm from that period, and I found a piece that said it was made in Biri that made green bottles that was up and running from around 1750-1850. So I guess my green bottle was made in the same period and way laying next to the piece that said Biri.
Will take a picture of it later today. Guess it was buried, after all I think it was 50 cm under ground.
