Don't know what it is, but I've never seen a wedge with a small, round head. They are usually rectangular so you have more surface area to aim for.

Are the flukes all the same? Do the pairs of opposing flukes have the same length as the other pair and do they appear to all come to a point together?

You nailed it! Very nice. Thank you. After electrolysis I found that it had a temporary thin metal cap.. and it’s hollow, and machined inside for a smooth fit to the pipe...
