Please help identify possible coin

Please help identify I think it's a coin but I can't clean it as it's really thin i found it in my backyard an the area I love in is a cross section of civil war an American revolution within a block in all directions
As you can tell by pictures an comparison it's odd in size a little smaller than the modern quarter a little bigger than a nickel when running it past my detector it goes off around zinc but from zinc to solid silver it's quiet!!!!

Possibly a trade token. Hard to tell.

Seeing it next to that quarter makes it about the right size for a half cent. Your last picture also shows a ring similar to those on the back of half cents. If you gently clean within that circle, the words, "half cent" might become visible. Whatever it is, it's very worn and will likely be difficult to identify definitively.

Maybe it’s just my eyes but the second picture looks clearly like a 25 in the middle, although it’s rotated. I see what you’re saying about the last picture though.

Wonder if its a 25th regiment button? From which war, I could not tell you, but possibly Rev? Awesome find!

Was able to clean up a little still no year stars an fw on reverse or fm
Front stars an 25
Can only make out 4 stars front an back

I think the F and the M stand for "Fun Money", as suggested. Probably light weight, like aluminum?
